Good Morning x 8 reps @25% of backsquat

4 Cleans (205lbs/120lbs)
3 Rope Climbs

  1. A: 185, 185, 195, 205, 225 20# heavier than last week. Feeling good today.

    B: 285. 10# heavier than last week

    C: 95# Started to feel these in my lower back 95
    # is obviously more than 25% of my back squat

    D: 5:27 went through it at at even fast pace. Felt good. Rope climbs are right in my wheel house.

  2. A: 185, 200, 215, 230, 245
    * Took bigger jumps than last week and ended up 10 lbs heavier than last week. I can't lie, the last set was a little ugly. Had to step back to save the power clean, had to step forward to save the first squat clean, but then I stepped up and hit the second squat clean pretty solid, settled at the bottom and stood up.

    B: 285 for all sets
    * These actually felt better than the 275 from last week. The straps definitely help take the mind off of the grip and keep it on good form.

    C: 115, 105, 95
    * These felt ok, but I could feel a little twinge in my lower back during this movement which is annoying lol

    D: 7:49
    * The rope climbs took entirely too long. It's not my best movement and the fact that my right leg was being destroyed was in the back of my head the whole time which didn't help. I need to practice some different foot holds and see if another one works for me. I also need to invest in some shin guards so this doesn't keep happening.
